For a few who need to pop-in quickly, this may be easier before 2pm or after 3pm so we can manage to say a quick hello – and honour those sharing encouragements & prayers from 2.15 – 3.15 pm. Thanks!
We’re Corona-caring so the party is as small and short as possible, mostly outdoors. We ask you to please bring a mask for when you are inside or chatting up close 🙂 thank you!
We’ll all gather around to share messages and perhaps just a few gifts. If you would like to bring a gift – there is a gift list just below for some ideas of things that haven’t been borrowed or gifted already!
The baby/baby room colours are mint green and dusky/light pink with a cloud, rain and rainbow theme (not unicorns).
Pssst! So you can tailor-make your tips and wishes – It may help to know that to keep Mom & Baby healthy in special circumstances Claire will be having an Elective (pre-planned) Caesarian Section about a week before her due date (18 February 2021) and baby will be bottle-fed from the start. Oh, and using cloth nappies from her third month.
So breast pumps and amazing tips on Lamaze breathing may be wasted, sadly 😉
HERE’S HOW TO USE THE GIFT SUGGESTION LIST BELOW

This special bum balm is one of the few that goes with the Bamboo Nappies without breaking down the fine fibres. We will go through lots of this!!
Every nursery seems to have one, a neat way that baby can be totally distracted during a change.
By far the prettiest of the 'cloud' theme single bed covers, for a bed that goes in baby's room.
Soft dangly toys for baby to hold and play with while she is changed.
The flat bumper is apparently best and safest!
Baby can practice getting a little bathtime reading! Underwater characters show how it's done.
Dad got all excited about being in charge of bath time ( disco balls and lights were mentioned!) Bath Time isn't bathtime without these guys...
Who doesn't love this little guy and rolling stuff. Adding this in to make sure everything isn't pink and pastel!!
Tummy Time starts from 0-3 months, baby is fascinated by toys and mirrors while she strengthens her tummy muscles. Baby Gym!
Just in case a little newborn forgets her shiny new name! Hint: Her name is not Zoe and if you choose this gift you might be one of the first to find out our baba's name so it can be made!
So we can put a month to a face, here are some sweet rainbow plaques to help Mom celebrate every milestone in Insta glory! (If only Mom was actually ON Insta, that is 🙂 PS Don't worry if the cards are not here for the party, Ma Petite is very pro but makes to order so it takes some time.
Transparent Tommy Tippee Dummy -

Goes perfectly with cloth reusable nappies - these can be flushed or composted and made with no plastic.
Montessori advises parents to show newborns black and white picture books because that is about all they can see!
Every crawling baby needs these so she can carry on wearing pretty skirts and dresses! Watch her go.
